Ascendant Announces Action Learning Programs in Boston
We heard you! We were fortunate to have over 75 of you at our breakfast in July, and we have spoken to many of you about your challenges and goals for performance management. The feedback was resounding: you would like to develop or improve your Balanced Scorecard programs. We also heard that you would like to learn from each other and do so in a cost effective manner. For this reason, we are launching two community-based training sessions on October 14th.
Based on your feedback, we would like to offer both a beginners and an advanced Balanced Scorecard "action training" program. What does this mean? It means you don't sit back and listen for two days straight. Instead you get instruction, tools and templates. But most importantly you get assignments that you complete with your own team for your own organization. You do not just learn what to do – you DO IT!
For the beginner just getting started with the Balanced Scorecard:
- bring up to three people from your organization to work with others to build your Balanced Scorecard
- meet face-to-face three times for ½ day each time
- meet virtually three times for additional support.
At the end of the process, you should expect to have a Balanced Scorecard for your organization.
For the experienced Balanced Scorecard user:
- we will focus on more advanced issues, like alignment and strategy review meetings.
- bring up to three people from your organization to work with others to build your Balanced Scorecard
- meet face-to-face three times for ½ day each time
- meet virtually three times for additional support.
At the end of the process you will have the tools you need to build an integrated strategy management process around your Balanced Scorecard.
If you are interested in this program, you can learn more here. You can also email me directly to register or to ask any questions. This is a great opportunity for you to develop a Balanced Scorecard or take your Balanced Scorecard to the next level of value for your organization.
In order to ensure personal attention, we are limiting the number of organizations that can participate in this first training session, so please let us know early if you would like to participate. Each program is only $2,500 for your organization (3 people for 6 sessions). On the website, we also have information about receiving a grant for the program if you are an extremely small nonprofit. The program launches on October 14th.
We are excited about crafting these programs based on your input, and we are looking forward to working with you this fall. The program launches in October, so please let us know now if you are interested.
