WASHINGTON, Dec. 14, 2011 -- /PRNewswire/ -- Ascendant Strategy Management Group today announced the launch of its "Shoot. Post. Win." Facebook video contest for national nonprofit leaders in anticipation of the 2012 Mission-Driven Management Summit in Washington D.C. Contestants can upload video submissions to the Mission-Driven Management Summit Facebook page until February 1, 2012.

By submitting an entertaining and compelling video, entrants can win two free, all-access passes to the annual summit March 6-8. Participants who have already registered and paid for the event will have their registration fees refunded in full.

All video entries must meet key requirements to be eligible. To enter, participants should upload a 30-60 second video to the Summit Facebook page (http://www.facebook.com/events/240700632633346/) that answers the following questions:

  • Why Ascendant should give you this opportunity?
  • What part of the Summit you are the most excited about?
  • A little about yourself: What makes you tick? What are your hobbies? Be creative!

In addition to two all-access passes, the creator of the selected video will win a spot in two pre-event workshops, an exclusive lunch with David Norton and autographed books by Dan Pink, the author of four provocative bestselling books about the changing world of work, and David Norton, renowned corporate strategist and co-creator of the Balanced Scorecard.

"David Norton is regularly listed as one of the 50 best and brightest management thinkers in the world (according to the Thinkers50 list co-sponsored by Harvard Business School Press). This is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to have a private lunch with one of the world's leading management minds. Add in the free conference passes, in-depth workshops, autographed books, and incredible networking events at the Summit, this is an incredibly compelling offer," stated Dylan Miyake, managing partner of Ascendant.

Video submissions will be judged based on their enthusiasm and passion for strategy management and the Mission-Driven Management Summit event, their ability to tell stories through video in an engaging, professional, and creative manner and the number of "likes" on the Facebook page.

The Ascendant contest will be open through February 1, 2012, with the winner announced on February 6. More information is available on the summit website at www.missiondrivensummit.com/contest.
